World Peace Stupa

World Peace Stupa is located on a hill just above the famous lake Fewa facing Mount Fishtail. The Stupa offers a great place to see the sunset over Pokhara and beautiful views of Annapurna and Fishtail. It can be accessed by hiring a boat and rowing across the lake and climbing for about 20-30 minutes, or by trekking from the road that passes Devi's Falls.

Also known as Shanti Stupa, World Peace Pagoda is a Buddhist pagoda-style monument located on a hilltop overlooking Phewa Lake. This is the second Shanti stupa in Nepal after the one in Lumbini. This stupa is now a leading tourist attraction in Pokhara. World Peace Pagoda offers an amazing trekking option from the southeastern shore of Phewa Lake. Apart from the stunning view of the mountains and lake, one can also enjoy a splendid view of sunrise and sunset from this stupa.
