Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Kathmandu. After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive westwards along the famous Prithvi Highway. This approximately 7 to 9-hour journey takes you through vibrant towns, terraced fields, and lush river valleys. You will gradually ascend into the hills, enjoying the changing landscape and glimpses of the Himalayan foothills. Arrive at Syange, a quaint village nestled along the Marsyangdi River. Settle into your guesthouse and prepare for the start of your trekking adventure. Overnight at a comfortable guesthouse in Syange.

Begin your trek following the Marsyangdi River, which carves its way through deep gorges and dense forests. Along the way, cross a series of suspension bridges that sway gently above the river’s rushing waters. The trail is rich with naturally beautiful cascading waterfalls, thick vegetation, and occasional glimpses of local wildlife. The terrain is moderately challenging, taking about 5 to 6 hours. Reach Tal, a peaceful village where you will spend the night at a welcoming guesthouse.

You will pass through small settlements where locals still live traditionally, giving you a glimpse into their everyday life and culture. The trail gradually ascends, surrounded by rhododendron and pine trees, leading you higher into the mountains. After about 5 to 6 hours of trekking, arrive at Danaque, where you’ll rest for the night in a cozy guesthouse.

Your journey continues through pine forests and narrow mountain gorges. The trail here is more rugged but rewarding, with spectacular views of towering peaks and river valleys below. Today’s destination is Chame, the administrative center of the Manang district. It’s a lively village with shops and tea houses, a perfect place to relax and acclimatize. The trek usually takes around 4 to 5 hours. Overnight in Chame.

Today you follow the Marsyangdi River upstream, walking alongside crystal-clear waters with breathtaking views of Annapurna II and Pisang Peak dominating the skyline. The trail gains elevation steadily and offers some challenging sections. After approximately 6 to 7 hours, reach Upper Pisang, a picturesque village perched on a hillside with traditional stone houses and panoramic mountain vistas. Overnight at a guesthouse.

Base Camp

Today’s trek is along a narrow and scenic route leading to Tilicho Base Camp, surrounded by towering peaks and rocky landscapes. The terrain can be challenging but is immensely rewarding with dramatic mountain views all around. The hike typically lasts 4 to 5 hours. Settle in for the night at the base camp, preparing for your early morning hike to the lake.

Rise early to hike to Tilicho Lake, one of the highest lakes in the world, renowned for its dazzling blue waters nestled in a high mountain basin. The round trip takes about 6 to 7 hours and involves some steep sections. After spending time at the lake, return to the base camp to rest and enjoy the mountain serenity. Retrace your steps back towards Yak Kharka, ascending through beautiful alpine meadows scattered with grazing yaks and wildflowers. The trail offers stunning views of surrounding peaks and valleys.
