This morning, we begin with the necessary paperwork for your Tibet visa application. Once the formalities are complete, we head out for an enriching day of sightseeing, where you’ll experience some of Kathmandu’s most iconic cultural landmarks.

Pashupatinath Temple (UNESCO World Heritage Site)

Located just 5 kilometers east of the city, Pashupatinath Temple is one of the holiest Hindu sites in the world. With its ornate pagoda-style architecture, this temple houses the sacred Lingam of Lord Shiva. Pilgrims come here to bathe in the holy Bagmati River, following rituals that date back to before 400 AD.

Boudhanath Stupa

Next, we visit Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest and most significant Buddhist stupas in Nepal. Standing tall on a massive mandala, this centuries-old stupa is a vital hub for Tibetan Buddhists. According to legend, it houses the relics of Kasyapa Buddha, one of Buddha’s incarnations.
