The Langtang Gosainkunda Trek is a perfect blend of nature culture and spiritual journey that combines the scenic beauty of the Langtang Valley with the spiritual pilgrimage to Gosainkunda Lake. Lake Gosainkunda (4,380 m.) is considered a sacred place in both Hinduism and Buddhism. Each year, thousands of pilgrimages visit Lake Gosainkunda for religious and spiritual ceremonies. According to the religious texts, it is said that Lake Gosainkunda was made by Lord Shiva as he hit his trident in land to bring out water. He made this lake to quench his thirst after having all the poison from Samundra Manthan. Trek through the stunning Langtang Valley and experience the Tamang culture.
