The villagers are engaged in a number of different occupations. Some of these include agriculture, trekking, and overseas employment. There are many different ethnic groups in the area including Chettris, Newars, Tamangs, and Brahmins.
Although the village is a small, picturesque village, it has grown into an eco-tourism destination. Visitors will enjoy an authentic village experience, and stay in a house built in traditional stone-roofed architecture. They'll be greeted by the locals with a traditional Nepali welcome song.
Meals are prepared by the villagers, and are based on the local foods. Guests can eat dal-bhat, or a variety of other dishes. Food in the region is organic, and is made with locally harvested products.
In addition to food, the village has a number of traditional dance programs for the tourists. The community also operates an organic tea garden. A half-hour walk from the homestays, the tea garden gives visitors an opportunity to soak in beautiful views of the region.

We drive to Lwang Village from Pokhara. We interact with good hospitality locals and have a traditional meals. We stay the night in one of the village houses with the home-stay facility.
After breakfast, we hike the Lwang Ghalel village, visit the tea garden and enjoy at the place. We interact with the locals to do some typical traditional activities yogurt, making butter, ghee, and we enjoy the night with a cultural dance and song and rest at the homestay.
After breakfast we return back to Pokhara or Kathmandu (7 hrs.)
